The countdown is on as we look forward to the annual Health Fair on Friday, February 7 from 11am to 2pm.

Come visit us at the Health Fair! This is a great time to stop by and meet with our benefit carriers and learn more about your benefits or get assistance with claim questions. You can talk to PEHP, Renaissance Dental, EyeMed, New York Life, Blomquist Hale, Aflac and CRX International. There will also be a licensed pharmacist available to answer tough questions you may have. You can stop by for a 15 minute chair massage, build your own trail mix, attend a smoothie demo with Mountain Star, test your skills with the Utah Highway Patrol impaired driving test and sign up for a Healthy Utah Screening to earn $50! Other great organizations that will be in attendance are Huntsman Cancer Institute, Utah Poison Control, My529, Senior Benefits, Intermountain Healthcare, Utah State Parks, and more. We will be capping off this great event with “Cookies and Comedy” featuring the hilarious Craig Bielik. They say “Laughter is the Best Medicine”.

We will have two food trucks in attendance this year. Check out the Where's Aldo and Marquesa’s Corn Dogs Food Trucks. This way you can have lunch without leaving and miss any of the action. Purchase some amazing food and enjoy a meal with your colleagues.

All employees and spouses covered on the Jordan School District PEHP medical plan are eligible to participate in the health incentive program. Healthy Utah offers a free appointment with a professional staff member.

Blomquist Hale is a very important benefit that Jordan School District offers for the employees that our on our medical plan. There is no cost to access in-person or virtual counseling on a limited basis. They are a great resource to help you navigate the world of mental health. They can help you find an in-network provider within our medical plan if you need additional help. Not only will you get some great insight on the above topics, feel free to ask Darren any questions you may have about the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

This year we are going to be holding a blood draw with ARUP. This will be happening at Mountain Ridge High School in the Media Center from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Cookies and Comedy with Craig Bielik & Crumbl Cookies at 2 p.m.
Craig Bielik will cap off the Employee Health Fair with some laughs and fun! Craig was born in Ogden, Utah and has spent 42 years in the Marketing, Communications and Public Relations field. He was born to make people laugh. Of course he was considered the class clown all through school. Some things never change. He recently retired from Ogden Regional Medical Center as the Hospital Communications Director. He continues to be very involved with Ogden's Christmas Village, the Chamber of Commerce, Pioneer Days and of course comedy. He is a comedian on a daily basis but he gets paid for it occasionally when he performs to packed house at Wiseguys.

No registration necessary. The first 250 people will be offered a free cookie, thanks to Crumbl.
